I've been redesigning the email mail outs for PSS this week. The old ones were based around quite a complicated table that was taking a long time to input stuff into and was also quite limiting in regards to putting together any sort of layout. The guys really wanted a way to combine type onto the photographs aswell. I looked at some of the other companies they liked mailshots to look at what kind of thing they were putting together. What I've done is to strip them right back so they will be sent out more reguarly. I've also chosen to use images that give more of a teaser of the products rather than giving everything away. I've done the whole thing in photoshop then split them up with slices as if it were a website so the different images can go to different hyperlinks. I'm really pleased with them.
